I got my start in business by establishing a successful direct mail company in my early teens. My first consulting assignment occurred when I was fifteen. The challenge was to start and build a successful printing and rubber stamp business. I am proud to say that the grandchildren of this, my first client, still successfully operate the business today.

Shortly after completing my education, I got involved with the Holiday Inns organization. My challenge was to take Holiday Inns overseas to build an "international" company. Today, Holiday Inns maintains an organization that reaches every corner of the globe.

From these beginnings, I have devoted over three decades to growing businesses, primarily through franchising and licensing.

Many of my clients came to me when the business they wanted to build was merely an idea and had yet to establish their first location. A few that come to mind include ERA Real Estate, Fantastic Sam's Family Haircutters, BlockBuster Video and Jiffy Lube.

Other clients were just getting their start with only one location and the dream of building a large and successful operation..

In every instance, these clients relied upon me to develop an innovative and comprehensive "growth plan" and assist in the implementation.

I am very proud to have played an integral part in taking these clients to the status of industry "giants". And I am equally proud to say there has been no failures.
